Every year around this time I go out looking for the first pasque flowers (backsippor) to pop up out of the ground on the heath by the sea at Stenshuvud near our country house.

It’s become a kind of ritual, my own rite of spring, so to speak. Anyway I’ll be away next week on a family visit to North America and the store will be closed. So happy easter or passover or whatever else you may wish to celebrate this time of year. See you in April!

Don’t forget Dina Gordon’s theater performance on Saturday at 6.15. Should be an event to remember. In the meantime how about some other rites of spring?
